What is Librisfy?
Librisfy is a community-driven marketplace for books, starting with used books. Readers register interest in the books they want, sellers list the copies they have, and Librisfy connects the two when there is a match.
How much does it cost?
Joining the waitlist is free. Once Librisfy opens, a buyer pays a flat fee of €3 + VAT to unlock the seller’s contact details when there is a match. We do not take a commission on the price of the book.
How do I pay for the book and get it?
After unlocking the contact, you agree on payment and handover directly with the seller — delivery or pickup, as stated in the listing.
What does ISBN verification mean?
Every listing needs an ISBN, which is checked against public book catalogue data. That way the offer you see refers to the actual book and edition you are looking for. Each listing also needs a photo of the copy being sold.
Who sees my contact details?
Nobody, until there is a match. Contact details are only shared with a buyer who has registered interest in your book and unlocked the contact. The waitlist itself is only used to tell you when Librisfy opens.
When does Librisfy open?
We are building demand first: we open once enough readers and sellers have joined the waitlist. Everyone on the list hears about it first.
