Data controller

What we collect and why

When you join the waitlist, we process your name, email address, your role (looking for books, selling books or both), your country and — if you provide them — the books you are looking for or offering. We use this data only to:

• notify you when Librisfy opens and send you related updates about the launch,
• understand demand (which books, which countries) so we can plan the launch.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the consent box. You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

If you email us directly, we use your message only to reply to you (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients and processors

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Form submissions are relayed by our own form service and delivered by email via Amazon Web Services (SES, EU region). The website is hosted on Cloudflare. These providers act as processors on our behalf.

Retention

We keep waitlist data until you withdraw your consent or until it is no longer needed for the launch of Librisfy, after which it is deleted.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses Google Analytics only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner. Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in a cookie named iza_cc for one year.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw your consent. Send your request to info@5p.si. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in Slovenia, the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si), or with the authority in your country of residence.
